  • Houston Chronicle

    Maintained front-end code, styles, scripts and third-party widgets for this "Premium" website and platform in the Hearst Newspapers Fleet, including the integration of a Social/Single Sign-on system and user profiles.

  • Houston Chronicle - SSO Project

    Worked with design and UI in very quick timeframes to get the Social/Single Sign-on system up and running on the HoustonChronicle, Chron.com, and Mobile-chron.com websites. Future enhancements were prototyped for a second-phase of development, improving user-flows and interactions.

  • Houston Chronicle - User Profile

    The User Profile page gives users access to membership-tools and information as well as providing marketing and subscription promotions. For the business, it was another valuable way of capturing user-metrics and information, guiding future development and expansion in the platform.

Penton Media
  • Pisces CMS - Centralized Code Platform

    Developed the PISCES centralized CMS using Drupal 6 and PressFlow, doing theme work and building out new magazine websites using the centralized platform for quick and tested releases. Produced websites for all of Penton's business sectors including the Agriculture, Trade, Technology, and Business verticals.

  • Pisces CMS - Centralized Code Platform

    This is an example of a different magazine website, built on the same centralized PISCES CMS and themed uniquely for that magazine's design and branding aesthetic. Core features and functions are shared in the platform while allowing each brand their own look and feel. Used LESS CESS as well as Bootstrap and other custom frameworks for responsive display and styling.

  • Penton Ask The Experts

    Built the Ask the Experts "expert community" feature, starting with Wordpress and then migrating it to the Drupal CMS when the PISCES CMS was built. I also produced the auctions business promotional content, for use across Penton's magazines.

Freelance
  • Singer Corporation

    I was contracted by Singer Corporation to build them a modern corporate website and extranet as part of an enterprise sale effort. This was achieved and the company was sold soon after. Work included new Branding and construction of a HTML/CSS based website.

  • The World Bank - Infrastructure Services microsite

    As a freelance consultant, I was contracted by the World Bank's Rural Infrastructure Services group to build a small corporate information website. Working with a designer, we put together the work in a very quick timeframe to enhance presentations and internal efforts at the World Bank. Work included HTML/CSS based website production.

  • Tobin Russell Photography

    Engaged as a freelance developer by Tobin Russell, I built a new photography-business website for the then Brooklyn, NY based artist. Design and strategy work as well as all HTML and CSS production was performed.

  • MidgeMaster

    As a freelance consultant, I was contracted to build a suite of websites in multiple languages for this UK based mosquito pest control company. HTML/CSS production as well as producing Unicode versions of the site content in many different languages, including non-western "Right-to-Left" languages like Arabic.

    Produced a brochure/sales website for the fashion designer Harvey Lewis Designs. Hired as part of a freelance team to quickly turn around this nice looking website to enhance his online presence.

  • Brogunier Event Photo

    After producing a photography website for Tobin Russell, I was contracted to build a wedding-photography business website for the same artist. Design and strategy work was done in tune with his on-going branding as well as performing all website production and deployment tasks.

  • Behavior Design

    Hired as a freelance consultant, I performed HTML website and Email Newsletter production tasks for some of Behavior's clients at the time, including CitiBank and American Express.

  • ArtNet

    After being part of the original ArtNet website launch at OVEN Digital, I was hired to work with a team of design and production consultants to build and design prototypes of new pages and structural components for this art & auctions business.

SPALAB
  • SPALAB

    Hired as part of this startup's initial crew of designers and developers, we produced many highly engaging websites, multimedia and data-visualization projects. As the Sound Designer for these projects, I produced the online Radio for SPALAB, sound effects and production for online games and data-visualization applications. As an interactive developer, I produced HTML/CSS/JS content for sites like Alan Siegel's award winning, "One Man's Eye".

  • SPALAB - Streaming Media and Radio

    One of the cool aspects of being the sound designer and interactive developer at SPALAB, was working on producing and managing the SPALAB Online radio, including all content and programming as well as managing streaming license agreements.

  • SPALAB - BattleBots Game

    SPALAB was hired to produce an online interactive game for the Comedy Central show "BattleBots", where robot fighters would be created and customized and sent into battle.

  • SPALAB - BattleBots Game

    Using limited bandwidth, I created a custom sound library of "fight sounds" and various appropriate robot sounds to support this Director3D project built by Chunk Genco. All sound recording was done live and custom for the project.

OVEN Digital
  • OVEN Digital - MoMA.org

    As web developer and production manager at this early digital design agency, we maintained and updated the award winning Museum of Modern Art website, it's exhibitions and collections sites as well as special projects like the museum's expansion VR and installation kiosks.

  • OVEN Digital - Probono.net

    OVEN Digital was hired by Probono.net, a legal aid effort to build them a website to help spread the word about their services to those in need. I was tasked with client relationship and PM tasks as well as doing the HTML/CSS production of the site.

  • OVEN Digital - MoMA Exhibitions

    Doing MoMA.org website production, I was also tasked with building special Exhibitions micro-sites as promotions for new exhibitions being launched at the museum. I built exhibition websites for artists including, Aleksandr Rodchenko, Achille Castiglioni, Alvar Aalto, Chuck Close, and Jackson Pollock.

    As production manager, oversaw and helped produce a modern website for the Wildenstein family art & auction business.

  • OVEN Digital - Multimedia and Sound design

    OVEN's talented rich-media team was tasked with building a drum-machine online application as a promotion for the Hooked music based website. This was done with Director/Shockwave, and I performed audio production and sound design to prepare the audio resources to be played by this online musical instrument programmed by Chuck Genco among other developers at OVEN.

  • OVEN Digital - MoMA ArtSafari

    Produced HTML and CSS for the MoMA "Art Safari" website project, aimed at educating kids through modern art. Produced several promotional websites for HarperCollins Publishers, including doing sound design and production on the award winning multimedia bookj, "The Crow".
